For the past few weeks, we were gripped with fear, paranoia, hope and optimism. These ambivalent feelings were our constant stalkers that deprived us peace of mind but inspired us to continue believing that the BEST is yet to come.
Last night was the hardest and the most agonizing part of the day. While we were trying to locate some courage, trying to inhale and exhale deeply (with our hearts racing in our chest and blood pulsing fast through our veins), the official announcement was made. Suddenly, it was the darkest room where shattered hopes and unfulfilled dreams disabled our spirits. It rendered us defeated and tears unexpectedly fell from our sad faces.
Now, everybody seems to re-evaluate his options. Reflecting on a lot of profound thoughts. Unfortunately, reflection brings more enigmatic questions rather than straight to the point answers.
How are we going to cope from the loss, from heartache?
How are we going to say bye?
Sometime in the future, we will see each other again with more gifts of experiences and gifts of life. And perhaps we can truly understand what it means to be a true gallant warrior as highlighted in Sun Tzu's Art of War, It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.
